Hypocrites!

by: Max Sprinkle

You cast me to exile as if I am nothing but heathen.
You believe you are better than me because you believe in a different God.
You mercilessly assimilate innocent people into drones of your faith.
Your soapbox preachers attempt to poison me with their pollution and sewage,
The "light of God" will not set me free it will only blind me.
You try convincing me that you are right,
That your way is the only way,
As you banish to Hell, all who refuse to conform.

Your leaders are hypocrites,
Preaching honesty and celibacy,
While stealing money and innocence from millions of men, women, and children.
Holocausts and Holy wars are executed in the name of God.
As you catalog and sort us by theological charms
Which adorn as necklace or a tie tack on the suit of a businessman.

Your fundamentalist teachers are holding guns,
Aimed at the souls of my sons and daughters
To force them to conform and embrace false deities,
Or suffer your God's wrath.
I don't want my children misguided by your God's ways.

You condemn me and my people, who are good and true,
While you bury yourself in sex, drugs and alcohol.
All the while claiming righteousness by accepting the loving light of God.
Fuck you and your double standards!

I don't have to take your constant repression.
Your path isn't my path,
MY PATH IS MY PATH.

Let me not stray, for if our paths cross again,
Only one shall arrive at their desired destination.

And I wont let it not be me.
