A Tale of Two Teachers

By: Max Sprinkle

I bring you a tale of two teachers today.
Two teachers too tight to stop and play.
I bring you a tale of two teachers today.

I bring you a tale of two teachers today.
Two teachers too taunted to stop and say:
I bring you a tale of two teachers today.

I bring you a tale of two teachers today.
Two teachers who thought of only one way.
I bring you a tale of two teachers today.
A tale that is too often told,
When two teachers soon became one.
As the result of a loaded gun.

The teacher who tightened his grip,
Took the life of this teacher’s crypt.
Now a teacher lay dead on the classroom floor,
As all of us mourn the loss of our favorite mentor.
