Why?

I do not understand,
Why is it that those who are slackers,
Always get off scot-free.
Why is this so?
But most of all I cannot comprehend,
Why those who are not,
Must take the blame.
Why is this so?
Why must we suffer?
What do we do?

I understand my work.
The math is easy,
The science is fun,
The English is boring,
The history is interesting,
All the subjects I understand.
‘Tis the teachers who baffle me.
What are they thinking?
Why do they act this way?
